Relay runs, but not towards either foe. Instead, she speeds away from the scene, racing down the street towards the invisible dome barrier. With the possessed Magmamite to their left, and the dangerous Gemini to their right, Relay and Nobody exchange a quick glance.
Suddenly, Gemini blasts up from behind the bus and lands 10 feet in front of it, holding a struggling Night Terror securely above his head.
Nobody throws up his good arm, transforming it into a reverse umbrella shape to shield Relay from a fresh round of molten rock blasted their way. Relay spins to the side to see the possessed Magmamite (a demonic smile on his rocky face) marching directly towards them, hands bubbling with hot lava.
Relay leaps to her feet, runs off the bus, grabs Tranquility from behind, and drags her 20 feet across the pavement – all in the span of a second. Coming to a hard stop, Relay lets a jolt of kinetic energy slip from her fingers and into Tranquility’s body. Tranquility continues on (at super speed),
