Action

Adam breathes in and out, in a poor attempt to calm himself. It almost works, until a ‘ding’ of his phone reignites his anxiousness.

His decision is made for him, when Adam’s phone stops ringing. Bernadette chuckles, enjoying his nauseated expression.

The phone again quiets. Then the cell phone in Adam’s jacket rings out. He slides it from his pocket, and flips into full panic mode when his eyes go to its caller id.

Bernadette offers him a new smart-ass expression. Before he can provide a come-back, the cell phone on her desk starts to vibrate. Adam watches Bernadette glance down at its caller id only to then ignore it, while shaking her head ‘no’.

Plopping elbows on her desk, Bernadette drops her head into her hands with a frustrating grunt.

Adam adds it into the file collection.

Bernadette provides him a choice finger, and Adam chuckles. She reaches for the very wrinkled photo of the jungle woman’s torso that lays on her desk. Flipping it over, she scribbles on its backside – ‘Brazilian Savage – September 3rd 2010’ – then slides it over to Adam.

Bernadette looks up from her sulk to blow out an attention grabbing sigh. It works, as Adam looks up and over at her dejected face.

Adam flips through a large file of newspaper clippings, photos and print outs, stopping on any that catch his eye.

Trigger grows an even toothier smile and leans forward towards her.
