Sunil stops just shy of the cemented area behind the empty park amphitheater. He searches for anything that could have prompted the earlier scream. He is about to chalk it up to nothing, when a crash comes from the other side of the amphitheater.

He rushes around the left side of the structure, and spots a fleeting image (maybe an extremely large animal) dart behind the opposite corner of the concrete stage. Unsure what he may ultimately find, he pursues while readying for a fight. Lava secretes from the pores on his hands, and quickly hardens into clusters of magma rocks that cling to his skin. As the molten transformation continues up his forearms, he swings around the front edge of the stage, and discovers…nothing.

Keeping the stage in front of him, and its concrete bleachers at his back, Sunil carefully scans the entire area for any threatening signs. When he notices a darkened passageway that exists beneath the stone stage, he takes a step forward to investigate. But then, he freezes as someone shouts his name.
