Turning her back to Adam, Bernadette taps one of the newly sprouted buttons on her gauntlet. The metal wings levitate up, hover in place briefly, then whoosh over to hook into her back straps.

Holding up a finger (signaling the show is not quite concluded), she hits another button, and the metallic wings reverse – compressing and folding until again just foot-long metal rods – now securely fastened against her back.

Bernadette spins back around, yanking the short white cape from the saw-horse. Clipping it around her neck, she gives Adam a final ‘ta-da’ bow. He does a quick congratulatory clap in return.
