Abby turns her back to Frank, and looks out to the yard beyond the porch, as he bounces up the foyer staircase to disappear upstairs.

She waits a moment, before turning back around. Stepping into the main foyer, she gets a closer look at the family decor. In particular, she is drawn to a beautiful 9-inch tall crucifix hanging in the hallway. With an index finger, she traces along the edges of the cross. Then she pauses, closes her eyes, and recites a silent prayer.

When she reopens her eyes, she notices the framed family-of-five photo on the hallway table. She picks it up for a closer look. The father in the picture stands on the left, in a white collared, black short sleeve clergy shirt. The mother is seated in the middle, with a two young children – a boy and a girl – all giggles in her lap. To their right, standing up front with crossed arms, is a slightly older child sporting a sour pout on his face.
