The dazed Charred Hun attempts to knock away his touch, but Night Terror’s power is already having its desired effect. As the Hun’s yellowish eyes grow heavy, Night Terror ignores the sizzling sounds of glove fabric and presses down harder. That is until Roman yanks Night Terror by the back neck of his cape, and
Reaching the felled Charred Hun, Night Terror drops his gloved right hand onto the Hun’s forehead, where his fingers squish in between mushy burnt flesh.
Suddenly, a broken steering wheel strikes the Charred Hun across the back of his head. Yelping out while seeing stars, the Hun falls back to the earth, about 25 feet from Roman. Roman discovers the man responsible for bringing the Hun low, as Night Terror sprints past in a beeline towards the dazed Hun.
The Charred Hun fires off the first one, and Roman knocks it foul. However, its exploding remnants catch a few nearby trees on fire. Neither combatant takes note, keeping their focuses square on the other.
Night Terror fires his wire gun and zips away towards the battle. Bernadette watches him swing off, as she cradles the hurt gentleman.
Night Terror looks down at the fire flickering around the bottom edge of his cape. He quickly reaches down and pats out the flames between his two gloved hands.
Slamming into it with a kevlar-enforced shoulder, Night Terror intercepts the flaming wheel – knocking its path a few feet left of Bernadette, where it hits the road then bounces wildly down the street. Once she sees the tire rolling away, Bernadette looks up to see her savior, Night Terror, landing down on the ground.
