A screech over their heads causes both of them to peer upwards. Some 90 meters above, the black night sky begins to tear apart – as if sliced by an invisible jagged knife. As the rip increases in length, its innards ooze out a pulsating purple blob that gathers around its edges. As the gooey substance grows, the slit gapes open to reveal its other side – an endless swirling mass composed of every color imaginable.
